I somehow managed to defeat the seemingly endless swarm of voidwokens and then the 3 giant lizards on my first attempt. Still level 3 in the dungeon part of the fort, trying to take down the houndmaster, his annoying dog and two bowmen. Now I'm finding myself in the exact same situation. Maybe I should just restart, but I don't think much will change.Įdit: I restarted and went with a fighter build on Fane and a 2+2 (ranged/melee) team, made sure to do as many quests as possible, even killed a few innocents around the fort for extra gold and spell books. I have tried to equip reasonably specced gear to each of my party members but my builds are probably a complete mess at this point, there's just no synergy in my team. What am I doing wrong? I've never a played a game so insanely hard. Now I'm in the hollow marshes and getting stomped.
Had to change the difficulty to explorer to get past the 2 guards and escape by boat. I escaped through the hatch into the fire zone with the weird slugs, that fight seemed too hard so I used Ifan's Pet Pal to speak to the queen slug and eventually arrived in the dungeons.
I've managed to kill the 3 crocodiles, the 3 turtles, rescued the elf, killed the 3 poisonous frogs at the back of the cave, killed the angry corpse-eater and the guy who wanted The Red Prince dead.
Every fight I engage in is just confusing and frustrating at this point.
